What is 3D Film Case
3D Film Case is a PBT phone case printed using sublimation film in a sublimation vacuum machine. The film wraps around the entire case, and under heat and vacuum pressure, the design bonds permanently into the PBT surface — resulting in a seamless, full-wrap print with no visible seams or window effect.
Advantages for 3D Film Phone Cases
Cost-effective — PBT resin is generally cheaper than PC, making it attractive for mid-range and promotional products.
Good heat tolerance — withstands the 130°C range used in sublimation vacuum mahcine.
Accepts sublimation dyes well — when properly formulated or pre-treated, PBT bonds with disperse dyes for vibrant, permanent prints.
Lightweight — lighter than PC in some formulations.
Easy to injection mold — fast cycle times, good flow properties.
